Terms of use and license
These terms apply to the Threadlode app and to licenses bought on this site.
Using Threadlode
You may use the free version without charge. Only open backups of your own messages, or messages you are legally allowed to access. Don’t use Threadlode to read other people’s messages without their permission.
License
- Lifetime: for one person or household, for their own message backups, on their own devices, for Threadlode version 1.x.
- A license is a one-time purchase. It removes the 200-message limit on exports and printouts.
- Do not share or publish your license key.
No warranty
Threadlode is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Backup formats change, and some backups – encrypted, damaged, very old or very new ones – may not be read completely. Threadlode never changes your backup; keep it. Exports are not certified copies. We are not liable for lost data or indirect damages, to the extent the law allows.
Payments and refunds
Prices are in US dollars; USDT amounts include a few cents that identify your order. Because the app can be tested for free before buying, sales are final unless the law requires otherwise. If your backup doesn’t open or export correctly after buying, contact us and we will try to help.
Consumers in the EU/EEA normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. For digital content it ends once delivery has started with your express consent: at checkout you confirm that you want the license key delivered immediately after payment and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the key has been delivered. We confirm this in the e-mail that contains your key.
Not affiliated
Threadlode is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc., Google LLC, or the developers of SMS Backup & Restore.

Threadlode uses open-source libraries under the MIT license, including sql.js (SQLite, public domain). See the list of components.
